Restrictions on Gym Use

We have capacity restrictions in place for the gym and require everyone coming to book their place. This is to maintain social distancing and ensure everyone is able to workout and keep safe.

For the forseeable future, all of our fitness classes will run outdoors and online.

Here is what we have put in place at the gym:

  • A one-way system with directional arrows & floor markings
  • More space between workout stations/equipment
  • Sanitiser stations
  • Covid-19 guidelines posters
  • Gym capacity at any one time
  • A booking system to ensure everyone has enough space

Frequent Questions When Using The Gym

These haven’t changed from before Covid-19.

They are:
Mon-Thu: 6am-9pm
Fri: 6am-7.30pm
Sat: 8am-5pm
Sun: 9am-1pm

We are. Guidelines set out for indoor gyms mean that we can have a maximum of 32 people in the building at any one time. That’s why we have setup a booking system.

Yes, you do.

To ensure we don’t go over capacity and the keep everyone safe, all members are required to book a time slot for the gym on our website.

Yes, they are.

We are continuing to offer our classes outdoors at Brockhall Village and online.

If you chose to freeze your membership at Masters Gym then this has now been defrosted and payments will resume in line with your contract terms.

We have spaced out all of the equipment/workout stations, have a one-way system in place, sanitiser stations, guidelines posts and are restricting the number of people in the gym at any one time.

We have also increased our cleaning regime and use a disinfectant that kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.

Wiping down equipment in your workout station after use, social distancing from others in the gym, and washing your hands regularly with soap and water will all help to reduce a risk of infection.

However, if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 then we recommend you stay at home and, if advised, get tested for the virus.

No, you do not.

There are no current regulations in place for the mandatory wearing of face masks when at the gym.

Online/Outdoor Fitness Classes

Online and outdoor fitness classes include:

  • Circuit Training
  • Box n’ Burn
  • Yoga
  • Legs, Bums & Tums
  • HIIT

We have different classes on every day of the week.

These classes are delivered live at Brockhall and online through video.

(No indoor classes will take place for the foreseeable future.)

If you are a gym member then you should have seen the link to book your gym session time and any of our outdoor fitness classes (as long as your level of membership allows it).
